Our special “day” with both Per and me being present throughout the day will be on the 11th of September. It is still in good time before your third assignment and allows us to come through the main parts of our section before reversing to the Macro Economics. I will come back with the timeslot, which will be extended, of course.

Financial Analysis Mindmap 2020
The last remaining part of our Accounting part is the KPI training, which we will do intensively this friday. Secondly, we will continue on our washing machine analysis and learn that, in fact, what we did, was an investment analysis and the way to a valuation of a company!
I will move the introduction of Activity Based Costing to next friday, given the focus we would like to have on the preparing for your assignment. If you can manage, you can read chapter 4, instead of chapter 11.
For the last two times, left for us, is then the Budget Procedure and the Management Control part.
Part 1 – KPI Training!
This friday we will start by training Financial Analysis. We will start by analyzing the accounts for 2019 for the Company Jensen, which may be better known as “Jensens Bøfhus”. You can find the accounts underneath.
We will use about 1.5 hour for the financial analysis, so this is complete preparation for your forthcoming assignment. After Completing, you will meet with one of the other group and use 15 minutes to discuss your findings. Afterwards, we will have a discuss in class with all present.
You will have a short introduction to the assignment before we commence.
In the analysis you should focus on the development in;
Profitability
Capital Allocation – Balance Sheet
Cashflow
You should have a clear conclusion on each area.
Part 2 – Valuation
A – Capital structure (this is why we introduced chapter 8, already last time).
Financing, discounting interests and WACC (Weighted Average Cost of Capital)
